Two entries and still 17 days left in the competition!!!!


Subject:
I have a new horse character over at Equine-Ranch.com and I think she has a pretty cool color and would make for a cool contest. She is Andalusian and because she is still new, her personality is undecided. So the subject is Dronia Silverlight. Color is Slate Grulla Silver. I'll show you a picture in a moment, but she has light dappling and a silver mane and tail-lighter than her body-not white. She has light zebra stripes on her front and back legs. This picture belongs to ER and the Artists, K. Lawrence...I did NOT draw it, but am only showing it so you guys can see her color. Dronia Silverlight

Your Challenge:
Fun part...Since Dronia is new to me, I havent really settled on what her personality is like yet. So the challenge is for you to draw her in a way that expresses a personality that you think she has. She could be agressive, stuck up, elegant, good, kind, or anything you like, even combination of personality. You choose! But make it EXPRESSIVE! Your entries will help me decide what she will train in dressage, western, english, rodeo, ect.

Tips:
What do I think would make a good entry? Glad you asked!! Obviously something that has had some work put into it, not just thrown together. May I suggest Dronia interacting with perhaps another character? -yes your own character is allowed in the piece!-Backgrounds are always nice, even if it's just a color BG other than white. But it's not required. Character sheets could also be nice. Remember, she's brand new, so anything you feel like adding, or changing you could bring out in something like that, that way you could write out what you think her personality is like.
Please write an explination in the description about the drawing and the personality Dronia is portraying in the drawing.

Rules and Media:
All media is allowed..BUT color does attract voters eye, so keep that in mind. If you feel that all you can do it line art, then go ahead it's fine-b/c I know I cant work with colors too! haha
As far as rules go, I dont think there are any!
Though, please note me with a link to your entry, that way there is less of a chance of my missing anyone.

Prizes!:
1st-An equine request, graphite piece of anything you like. Depending on what you ask for, I may or may not be able to do a BG with it, but if you would like to see a BG on it, then I can try.

2nd-Same as 1st

3rd-Same as 2nd

*Depending on my art flow, everyone who enters may get a request or gift art for their efforts, but I will come to you about that after the contest is over.

At the end of the contest I will have an OPEN voteing session where everyone and anyone can vote on the entries. But you can not vote for your own drawings. Also, be nice...dont go around to your friends saying "hey go vote for me" if in some way I think you've done that....*tisk tisk* it will effect your placement b/c I WILL have the final say in the placements...but I dont think we will have a problem with that stuff!
