And I am reminded how much I hate the humidity.

Anyway, I'm back!! I've kinda been back for a few weeks just haven't been able to endure the dial up long enough to write a journal. But now I'm leaching off my neighbors wireless so it's all good.

The trip itself wasn't too interesting. Leira (the hairless wonder) didn't really like it that much-poor thing-she wouldn't go to the bathroom as often as she needed (I'm sure). We stayed in a rated R movie hotel the first night and learned our lesson. We had to get a smoking room b'c it was the only one left and there was a big concert in Cheyenne, Wy. so we knew we couldnt find anything else. So we just suffered through it...that was a really expensive shower...and decided the rest of our nights we would sleep in the truck. The truck was far better than the hotel. The sencond night we stoped at a KOA campground and slept in the truck bed. And the third night, we drove most of the night and when we got to the Virginia line, stoped for a few hour nap in the cab parrked in a rest stop. lol Joys of being young.

Sully thought it was the greatest thing on earth, being so close to his humans day and night. lol Leira...not so much. But everyone made it home safe and sound and are now perfectly adjusted to my partents two story farm house. Sully loves the 2 acres and Leira is just happy to be out of her carrier and sleeping in bed with us again.

All in all, Wes and I have settled in well. Seeing old friends again and then saying goodbye to those friends b/c everyone is going back to college. So it Wes in a few days. Me? I had a job at a dressage barn but I've already quit it b/c she paid by the day, $30 a day and I was there for 6 hours, didnt get home till 8 and its just not worth it. So I hope to find another stable job. I'm waiting to hear back from an Arabian breeding barn thats only 5 miles away. That will be heaven if only the lady will call me back!!! If not...then to town I go to find a 'real/normal' job like everyone else and steal the college kids summber job from Lowes.

I really miss all my online horses and stuff. I really love my new mare Skyleina. maybe i will get some time to draw them again soon...but Wes' sister let me borrow her Twilight books and I havent done anything else but read. hehe I am reeeally enjoying them.
