The Showering Friendship

Oh my gosh I just had a huge paragraph typed up about this and I hit something on the keyboad and it's all gone! *slams head on desk* Gaa! I dont even want to type it back out!...o well.

The horses in the picture kinda were a bit fuzzy from winter it seems, so their was a lot of textures in their coats, thats what I tried to do in the picture. I think I will be joing the "my scanner sux" group in saying that my scanner ate a lot of the lighter details in this. Like, their blazes really arent that white, they have hairs in them and are shaded to match the tone of the horse. I also wanted to find something to try out =south-wind's background tutorial. I think I made it too dark. It's not something that really shows much grace, elegance, strength, or power, nor dose it have a lot of flash. But I think it shows love and kindness well enough, which is just as important as all the rest. What's elegance or flash without kindness anyway?

Has anyone ever worked really hard on a drawing and it seemed like you could smell the horse you were drawing? yeah guess it's just me. I guess I just miss Stormy
