Wow I have not drawn a full bodied horse in a very long time. I think it shows!
Its and Andalusian, I have a special place in my heart for them. Titled, awoken, because I spent all day trying to wake Wes up through web cam, working on it at the same time, and was finnishing it up just as he finally woke up! haha Silly yes, but who cares; do you have a better title? Yeah I didnt think so. *south-wind gave me permission to use her idea for a background like in her drawing [link] I tried not to make it just like her's (like I could do that anyway-sike) by surrounding more of thehorses boddy. Thank you so much for giving me a hint and letting me use your idea! She needed it anyway, being a grey she just sort of faided into the paper. I think it really helped to pop her out a bit. Dont talk to me about the hind legs....actually do talk to me about them...whats wrong with them? And I know the face is weird, i fixed the shading in the bg by his nose, you will see it when I hopefully resubmit this as scanned when I get acess to Wes's scanner. I need criticism. Comments
nice pic, the shoulders and neck set is out, also, looks more like a lipizzaner, the back legs have thighs that are a bit to short, and the stifle looks really wide. I do like it though
-- *****all the children are insane***** *****only those who attempt the absurd, achive the impossible***** Albert Einstien. [url=[link] Wow. Really nifty... like the power in the pose. Some critique would be to darken up some areas for a little bit more contrast, like the background. Actually, I think the back legs are relatively find, but the foreleg that nearest to the ground seems like it would be too long... just my thought. Overall, I think it's nice. Just gotta start drawing full bodies more. lol. Busts are more fun and easier though.
